I am having my surgery on Monday. Tomorrow is my clear liquid, bowel prep day. My surgeon is Dr. Miles at STVE in Birmingham. I cannot find my pre-surgery direction sheet that they gave me in the office on Thursday. I have tore my house apart. I know the diet is Clear liquids and nothing after midnight, but I cannot remember how much of the laxative to take and what time to take it and what time to retake it if the 1st dose did not work. If anyone is a patient of Dr. Miles and has this info handy, please send me an e-mail at rd0127@yahoo.com with the bowel prep info. I am panicked.

Hi Rene,

I am not a patient of your Dr but I did want to wish you the best and to tell you to calm down. Everything will be alright. I didn't have to take a laxitive before my surgery I was just told nothing to eat or drink after midnight and my surgery went just fine. Take a deep breath and calm down and you'll be ok. Good luck to you girl.
