Help! Need advice on banding!

My aunt is wanting to get banded. (I am already banded.) She needs to have it done in Mexico because insurance won't cover it and she can't afford to pay what it costs here. I had mine done in the states so I'm not sure how this works.

Do they offer financing?

How do you get your tests done?

Is the cost of testing included in the total price?

Did you like your experience?

Thanks!

I had my banding done in Tijuana, Mexico Feb. 01, 2008. I went to Bajanor hospital -Dr. Carlos Alessandrini. The website---www.bajanor.com--- has several financing companies from the U.S. that she can apply through. The total cost is 7,800.00. This includes your surgery, testing, airfare, hotel stay, transportation and everything. I had a great experience and have several friends and co-workers who went there and have done great! Let me kow if I can help with more info.

They do the bloodwork, EKG, etc once you get there and you have to fill out a questionnare online before they will approve you to come. They have wonderful communication and the doctor calls you himself to answer all your questions before you go. There are doctors everywhere here in the states to do your fills afterwards.
