Need Missouri doctor

Does anyone know if any doctors that do lap band for $12K or $13K? I am looking into going to Colorado for $10K but live in KCMO. I am a self pay and need to find a good doctor that costs less for self pay. I know Dr K in Colorado is great but I would have to fly back and forth many times. I want to have my fills with the same doctor that does my lap band. Any advise would be appreciated!

My doctor is Dr. Van Wagner in St. Louis. I wasn't self pay, so I can't be positive, but I believe that his price is right at $12,000. Also, I know that it's cheaper if you opt for the surgery center instead of the hospital.

My experience with him has been excellent. Here is his website if your interested in checking into him: www.hoab.org

Good luck on your journey!

Im not sure how much Dr Malley charges for surgery, but he is in Overland Park and I am using him for my fills. I will have my first fill on June 2nd, and I was banded in TJ Mexico by Dr. Kuri on April 8th, 2008. But I hear Dr Malley is great, also SuzieCat on MO uses him and she lives in Kc area. Cindy
