My surgery is scheduled for sept. 26 th. And I am gettng a little nervous. (I am only nervous about one thing, being put to sleep)

Where will you be getting your band? Who is your doctor? I'm in "Monotony Falls" but hopefully will be banded at Elmbrook. I know it's scary to be put under, but having gone through it many, many times I can only say put your faith in God and ask Him to guide your surgeon's hands. Think about how many others have had this done already and came through just fine. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

I share the same lap band date as you - getting a little nervous now that it's right around the corner.

I'm getting mine done in Winchester, MA and Dr. Sandor is my surgeon (I love him!). I'm on liquid diet right now, but have been eating some food (he said I could eat 1 meal/day).

Are you on a special diet prior to the surgery?
