Noticeable difference

Recommended Posts

I went to the Water park this weekend and to exit the park you have to walk up a very big hill. Every year before I have had to stop at all the benches to catch my breath. This weekend I walked up the hill and bypassed all the benches. I didn’t even have to stop once I was not out of breath. It was amazing.

This is the first time I noticed a difference in my level of fitness.

I have to say it felt so great.

:biggrin::):biggrin2:

I had this goofy smile on my face for the rest of the weekend.:biggrin2:

I'm 24lbs down but I can already recogize little things that I couldn't do before I can do now, makes you feel good. I can't wait to ready more about your success.

Well you, in general, rock Cerrin. I started the oliptical because of you- Did you know that. I can still only do 8.5 minutes, but I used to be able to barely do three so I'm improving.

Thanks guys! it really means a lot to hear that.

And 8.5 is not bad We all start somewhere. I didnt start off doing the Elliptical for 60 minutes. ButI worked up to it. And now I am so glad I stuck with it.

But I do still play the mind games with myself. When I dont really want to go to the gym I will tell myself I will JUST do 2 miles. Then when I hit the 2 mile mark I am kinda like Oh I will do one more I will just go slower. Then I hit 3 and tell myself well I did 3 I can do the last mile slow. But then I look at the time and am like If I kick it up I will still be done in 60 minutes.

LOL it works for my brain.

I am really wanting to do a marathon like losingjustme did. I was so impressed with her for doing the Minnie Marathon I want to do one now too.

I went on a business trip with two slim, fit, 30 year olds. They wanted to see everything!! So did I, but hadn't considered having to walk. I thought, "oh no....this is going to be really bad, I'm going to slow them down." Well guess what? We walked about 4 and a half miles and I never got winded!!! I didn't stop for any breaks. I just had a ball. I know how you feel Cerrin. It's the best feeling in the world. Such an improvement in my quality of life!!! Congrats....

Yea! Aubrie that is great! it is just so odd for my mind to be NOT thinking about how BAD I am going to feel if I do something like that. NOW I dont think about it as much. I think about the fun I am having and not about IF I am going to be able to keep up.

It is such an amazing feeling. I never really thought I would experience it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
