Hi everyone!

Today's gathering was great! We had 3 new people join us and had a great discussion. I think this was the first meeting where EVERYONE was banded! It was much fun! I'm glad everyone was able to join us. We'll be meeting again next month and I would like to invite anyone that'd like to join us! Whether you are pre-band, newly banded or an old band pro. Everyone is welcome!

Where: Polaris Mall food Court

When: Saturday June 14, 2008

Time: 2 p.m.

Look for us near the entrance to the Great Indoors store. We will have a helium balloon marking our group.

All you have to bring is your smile... but if you want to you are welcome to bring outgrown clothes to share with those that might need/want them as well as a "before" picture to add to our group photo album.

If anyone's interested in having another get together at some point before the 14th please let me know. I have a HUGE box of clothes that I forgot to share today and I'd love to let you guys at them! There's a big mix of stuff including summer. Most are sized 20-26.

The only day that might be dicey for me is the 7th. That night we're having my daughter's graduation party. On the other hand, I might be able to skip out on some cleaning and drop by for a while if you pull something together :-)

The evenings work for me also, so count me in if you get something going :-)

Hi Girls, I am on vacation and went shopping because I had nothing to wear I was buying size 14's and some 16's which I thought was great

!!! Then I went into this little botique and was looking around and the sales person asked me what size I wore and I said a 14 well she brought me a 12 and told me to try that on and I did and low and behold it fit!! I was so excited that I bought the whole outfit. Then the next day I had to go back and buy a pair of shoes to go with it. I am so excited to be able to shop in the little specialty botiques and get expensive but very cute clothes. Something I have not been able to do for a long long time. You guys have to check the onesole.com you can buy one pair and change the tops to fit your outfit!!! It felt so good to reward myself for my year of weightloss. We all work hard at out weightloss so we deserve a treat!!! Can't wait to see you all in June. I am going to have to put on new pic on in my new clothes!!! Hope everyone is doing well and I know I will see less of all of you in June!

Oh my gosh Heather. I just now found this thread! I was wondering if you'd made a new one or not. I wonder if everyone else knows it's here.

I am not sure if I'll be able to make it. Depends on how many I can gather up to go in on gas with me!! Don't count me out just yet though!

I would be interested in some summer clothes as well if anyone has any. My 24's are falling off of me! YAY! Not that I'm complaining!

Jill, I hope you can make it too! I can't wait to see your newly banded self :-) This month's FS meeting (June) has been canceled... however many of us are meeting at CapCity that day for a un-official FS meeting. Let me know if you'd like to join us and I'll make sure they up the reservation by one. (Don't worry about eating... I'll most likely just be having Water myself)

P.S. Kathy, I'll miss you... this is the first meeting you won't be at since January!!! Have fun in Florida and I'll see you at the end of the month!

Thanks Kathy! It's getting a bit harder the further out I get but I'm plugging along!!!

Hey, can you re-send me your phone number. I figured out why I keep losing it... my phone syncs with my computer and I had it set to overwrite everything on the phone with what was on the computer... so all the info I put into the phone was lost. It just happened again... sigh

From what I have read, were you banded by Dr. Myers at FSB?

I just had a Realize adjustable gastric band placed by him 06/03/08 so I am just beginning this journey and love reading all the posts. I am from Central Ohio and would like to make it to some of the support group mtgs. I grabbed the dates in his office at my post op visit. Not very savvy on the computer but managed to read your site! Still on the full liquids and start pureed in 2 days!!
