My surgery date has been changed from June 13th to June 23. Please change my date on the line up.

I never got toilet tongs. And I am doing just fine! Unless they could help tie shoes, that's the only area I can't reach well is to bend over and tie my shoes. I wanted to go on a longer walk this afternoon so didn't want to wear my sandals. If we go again, I'll probably ask DH to tie them for me.

My biggest complaint would have to be how tired and weak I feel. I slept 12 hours last night, fell asleep twice in the chair and took a 2 hour nap this afternoon, and I'm still sleepy! Might as well enjoy it while I can and my daughter and husband are here taking care of the house etc. We are getting out of town company on Tues. so I hope to be perkier by then.

Debbie- Anesthesia is stored in fat; it is why you are sooo tired. Up 2 hours and then "oh jeez, I need to lay down now." and you are down for a long nap. This is normal after surgery.

Ok, all you June 9th Bandsters!!! Are we psyched yet?!!!! I am! Can't wait! I just keep daydreaming about being in a normal bathing suit (it's hot as Blazes here in Atlanta!). Next year - the normal pool! No more back yard kiddie pool for me! Good luck everyone!

Hey iteachurkid I am not on the list but we are being banded on the same day. I only have to do the Akins diet for 7 days. I hope I loose weight next week like you have. That is great!!. Good luck and I will be praying for you and all the others.

Cathy congrats I'm glad you are home and doing well. I know you are glad it is over and now you can start recovering and looking forward to smaller sizes. That is what I look forward to being healthier and shopping in regular stores without having to go out of town or ordering online.:biggrin2:

CathyChatts and the rest of you banded Jazzy Junes...it's so wonderful to hear from you all. Thank you so much for taking the time to text us all and let us know the ins and outs of the surgery and recovery process.
