banded march 26th 2008

Ok im so happy to have gotten the surgery!! I have lost 27 pds so far but im ready for a fill , my fill date is may 9th. I feel like im eating too much or im always hungry , im not eating any sweets and trying not to eat many carbs because iam diabetic but since the surgery i have been taken off my metformin, byetta and glipazide im so happy cause my levels have been running between 80 and 100. So i must be doing something right , so is anyone feeling hungry all the time b4 their first fill? Anyways im looking to lose about 170 pds so i have a ways to go , but i know if i really want it i can do it!! Same to everyone else needing to lose weight! I keep telling myself [[ food ]] is not my friend!! So good luck to everyone!!

HI Sherri

Yes I am right there with you. Banded march 25 and my fill will be april 30. I am hungary all the time but must admit I am able to recognize most of this hungar is head hungar. My dilemma is I can eat and eat without consequence until LATER when I have a stomach ache for hours. Julie
