Does anyone know of any DFW lap band surgeons that have financing options for those who won't be covered by insurance and want to self pay?

just my 2 cents... Dr. Barker's Lap Band costs a total of $10,100 including an overnight stay in the hospital in Mesquite.

Then each fill is $100.

Pretty darn good. Part of the reason I picked him. I am paying out of pocket for the whole shebang... and his price was to die for.

try Dr. Adam Smith if Fort Worth. I know he offers financing. He is agreat doctor plus he is banded himself and can really relate.

I also have UHC and am using Dr. Jayaseelan and having my surgery done on the 29th at Richardson Surgical Center. Someone from the Center called me yesterday and confirmed my insurance pays 100% because it's out-patient surgery.

That is great. When I first started trying to find a Doctor, Dr. Jay was just trying to get on UHC. Of course I was too impatient to wait so here I am still waiting on insurance approval. Good luck on your surgery.
