Hi there
I was rushed into hospital 2 weeks ago and after 2 days of agony eventually moved to a hspital with a bariatric surgeon who removed my band as it had slipped and also had to remove part of my stomoch as it had died (the part of my stomoch above the band was black, some of it returned to normal colour and some did not) I had had my band for 3 years and am at target, actually a little below now. Has anybody else experienced similar and if so how long did it take you to recover. I get a lot of pain when i eat and at the moment everything I eat goes straight through me.
I dont want to frighten people but had it not been for knowldge gained from sites like this the consultant said had i have been left another day who knows what could have happened.
