Need Advice!

Hi All,

I'm getting my band on 4/17. I've read every single thread (i believe) on Protein powder/shakes and i'm all confused. I wanted to buy some powders (flavored) so i can try them and have them stocked up prior to my date.

I know this topic is probably dead by now:smile2: but can you list you top and/or worst protein powder/shakes. There are so many choices and some have a lot of fat in them...so obviously i want to have a healthy choice.

Thanks so much!!!

Hello, I have tried quite a few and my favorite is EAS Advantage carb control premixed, pretty tasty and I don't like powders. These are really good and are only 110 calories and 17 grams of high quality protein. Don't get the EAS Mypolex though, those are for body builders. Good luck!

My favorite Protein shakes/powders (I need no more than 170 calories & at least 15 g of protein per serving so these meet my requirements):

EAS Advant Edge Carb Control

Atkins Advantage

Designer whey powder

You may want to go on Vitalady.com and order samples; they carry many different brands and flavors. I didn't like most of them, sad to say, but many people do. I like the Designer Whey powder because it mixes easily. Many others absolutely require a blender to get them mixed properly.

You can also get samples of unjury powder at Unjury.com. I liked most of them except for strawberry.
