i miscarried.....need advise

i am approximately 2.5 months pregnant, but my embryo died at 6 weeks. we found out yesterday via an vaginal ultrasound that the embryo does not have a heartbeat. i find out thursday if my blood work confirms it. (my hcg levels have to be going down).

i'm devastated. i never knew it would be this hard, but now i have another decision to make. my doctor wants me to decide if i want a d & c or if i want to wait for it to pass. i don't know if i can walk around every day waiting for it to happen. it's hard enough now because i know it is still in there. it's already been several weeks and no sign of miscarriage.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage 4 years ago and my doctor thought I had passed all of the tissue but after 2 days of excruciating pain I went back in for an emergency D & C because there actually was tissue that wasn't showing up on the ultrasound and was basically toxic to my body. I would suggest having it done. you wont feel anything and in my case I feel extreme relief afterwards because I wasn't in pain anymore. I am really sorry, again.
