march 11th banded and hungry

I am wondering if other people that were banded around March 11th are getting hungry all the time. I was banded on March 11th and was on a one week liquid diet, 1 week of mushies and now I am slowly working on going to solid food. I have been eating chicken, salads, fish, but it seems like I am always hungry or thinking of food. I normally stop eating after I have had between 1/2 cup and 1 cup of food just because I was told not to have more then that, not that I am full.

My daily meals include:

B: 1/2-3/4 a can of Atkins Chocolate Delight

L: a small piese of ham or chicken with a small piece of fruit or a cup of chef salad

D: about the same as lunch

normally I will not snack, if I do is is a sugar free popsical

I average between 500-800 calories a day

Anyone else having this same problem

I wasn't banded then, but I can guarantee you there's someone out there banded onthe same day as you who's hungry all the time. That's why weightloss between surgery and restriction should be seen as a bonus, and not an expectation -- new banders aren't getting the manual help from the band yet, and all weightloss is on their shoulders.

I was banded March 11th and my hunger has returned. At my 2 week checkup I was told that I could eat more protien. She understood that I would continue to be hungry until my fill which is at 6 weeks.
