Vomiting

I had my second fill last Tuesday and am having the worst time trying to keep food down, some days it is okay and others have been worse. I get the feeling of my food being "stuck" after 2 bites and have to vomit to make it better. Please give some insight as to whether I need an unfill or if it is just tight secondary to being so soon after having the fill. Thanks.

Go on liquids for a few days to let the swelling and irratation go down. If that doesn't help, you probably need some unfill.

Well, it's totally up to you.

Can you eat 1-2 bites and walk away? If so, I'd wait and see...sometimes restriction comes and goes for many.

If not, go back for an unfill.

But, if you are actually vomiting... get an unfill if you can't stop eating.

Hi,

I'm very sorry to hear you're not doing so well right now.

Vomiting after only two bites of food sounds like not a very good thing at all. It is serious. You should be able to get food down without vomiting. Too much vomiting may lead to band slippage. I would HIGHLY suggest you contact your doctor who did the fill immediately, and get it checked out ASAP!
