Plastic Surgery

So I will start the plastic surgery thread.

There was a comment/question about waiting a year after to get plastic surgery. My doc said that used to be his recommendation but he feels now after seeing both results that there is no difference. If you have a lot of skin it is not going to go away. If you have minimal amounts of skin, it might. He feels that sometimes it is better to have it sooner because people can get so discouraged with their extra skin that they start gaining weight. I am going to post my belly pictures so that you can see what I am dealing with. I look at myself in the mirror and think DAMN you look good. Then I take my clothes off and feel like a total failure. I know MESSED UP, but just wait until you see the pictures.

Nana, its so good to hear from you. Congrats on your continued weight loss success. You are doing great.

There is another "book" documenting mine and Frangi's surgery and post op recovery, with pictures no less, at the link below. Also on the main plastic surgery page you will find a whole thread dedicated to Salsa's surgery. We are all doing great! Please check in more often. We love to know how our fellow Crazy Ates are doing.

Thank you -- I feel bad for having been AWOL for so long. But my daughter got married -- a "simple" beach wedding -- translation: to cut costs we did everything ourselves. (In truth, "I" did almost everything because she has a 2 y/o to chase around and it's just easier to do it than to keep him.)

I promise to put in more appearances. And thanks for the link. I was reading and realized there was still several pages to go, so I'll finish later when I have more time. I'm just so excited for ya'll tho'!!

And I realize -- I've been unintentionally sabotaging myself. I should be down 100 by now. It's the curse of the tortilla chip!!! (One BITE of a flour tortilla shuts me down two bites make me slime -- but I can 'grind up' an ungodly amount of tortilla chips and never get full!!)

I always knew Tex-Mex would be the death of me!!
