Inamed does not vary.

It's 6 weeks after surgery.

Then 4 weeks later for the second fill.

Docs can vary but the recommendations don't.

I got my first fill of 4cc 5 weeks after surgery. I'm doing great!

I got 3 cc 6 weeks after surgery and have to wait another 6 weeks after that

It is 6 weeks, it takes that long to get the band site healed. But it goes by quick....That first fill is more like a base to fill on later. I have to go back and get a new fill on Friday...It does not hurt at all...

The Inamed protocol states that the first fill should be 3-4cc at six weeks after surgery and the patient should be reviewed every 4-6 weeks after that. My first fill was 2cc 4 weeks after surgery and I've had one every four weeks since then.

I was banded on Jan 14th and don't get my first fill until April 8th..12 whole weeks...I'm going crazy and I'm eating way too much...I need a fill NOW!!! My Dr won't do it any sooner.
