Anyone taking Prednisone or Hydrocortisone?

I have COPD and adrenal insufficiency and take hydrocortisone. My endocrinologist has been trying to get me on the lowest dosage possible before lap band. My surgeon wants me to be on 10 mg of hydrocortisone before the procedure, but I can't get that low. Anyone else take these meds and had the surgery?
