OMG - My stomach is soooo bloated

Hi All,

I was banded 4 days ago, and was hoping to wake up to no more gas today..but no such luck. My stomach is soooo bloated and sore! Uck!

Any suggestions on what to do, and how long this will last?

Thanks,

Lucky

Walk, walk, walk. Mine lasted about 4 days, but I walked constantly. It will make you feel so much better. This gas is caused by the anesthesia. You may also have gas from swallowing air when you drink - try Gas X strips for that.

Good Luck!

Mine lasted for quite a while. I don't think mine was gas, I just think it was swelling or something and it made it that I couldn't wear a lot of my clothes even though I was losing weight. I didn't feel pain like gassy just couldn't get my jeans zipped. It lasted for about a month.
