First Fill Questions

Hi, I was banded on Jan 31. I am so happy.

I already lost 17 lbs including the 2 weeks on liquid before

the op.

I am getting my first fill on Monday - only 4 1/2 weeks from

surgery. I am nervous about it. Does it hurt?

I am worried about feeling sick and food not going down.

Do you choke? Can you drink then to help it.

How much do they put in the fill? Should I ask them to go slow?

Need some advice. Thanks for any info:scared2:

Hi, I was banded on 01/25/08, I had my first fill today just 4 weeks later. I had a seroma which is a pocket of fluid over my port and they drained it and then gave me my fill. I was NO big deal, just a little stick and they ask you to drink just to make sure you aren't too restricted. Relax and all will be okay, I wasn't nervous at all. Good Luck!!!
