Filled with no restriction

This may be a silly question, and I'm sorry if it is....What happens when you reach a point where your band is filled to capacity and no longer offers restriction? Is this even possible?

I'm sure it could be filled to capacity and offer only so so restriction - I believe you can go a bit past capacity and be OK but after that, I dont know.

I would have to suspect if you were at capacity and had NO restriction that something was wrong!

I also wonder about the restiction thing, some days I feel so restricted that almost anything not liquid seems to give me pain or cause me to pb.

Other days I can eat fairly normal and no PBing at all. White bread seems to alway give me grief. But why the fluctuations in restriction? Any one know?
