On the Other Side

Well everyone, I made it through surgery. Everything seems to be going good. I am soooo excited! I'M A BANDSTER! I worried so much before surgery its a wonder I'm not bald. I just got home and I'm taking it easy. I sure am glad to be home, the hospital was miserable. Thanks for the support and prayers. Going to lay down and rest, will post again soon.

Congratulations Desiree!!

Why was the hospital miserable? Were you in pain or were the facilities not what you expected?

Welcome to the other side............now the healing begins (both physical and emotional!)

Thanks yall', Lisa the hospital was miserable because I couldn't get comfortable, I had wires all over me(IV, heart and oxygen level monitor, then they gave me oxygen), I had those hose on along with some other leg things that blow up to help circulation to prevent bood clots. All I could think about is I gotta walk around and get this gas to moving, but couldn't do to all the restiction. I just have a hard time sitting still. I feel like I have to be doing something. So that is why I was miserable. The nurses were really nice and I had no problems with the hospital itself.
