What the.......

I was at my kids skating party last night and I was talking to another parent sitting at one of the tables and one of the people she was sitting with said "hey you look like that girl from the View" pretending that I didn't know who he was talking about, I kinda ignored it. Then he screams "I know who she is, Rosie O'Donnell!!" What the hell, was that supposed to be a compliment??? Nice...... I can't wait for my band, people used to say I looked like Brooke Shields!!!!!

Sorry that happened to you. I'm sorry but I can't imagine anyone being pleased with that comparison. That person must be lacking in the tact department.

That's funny, Linda. I was in to much shock that he would do that, that loud, for me to have a quick comeback. Anyways, it definately made me less scared about having the surgery. LOL

She's just jealous! I'm sure you still look just like Brooke!

Good luck next Monday... I'm going the same day...

In a few months, please will say you look just like Jessica Alba (just getting younger and younger every day)

I think without missing a beat I'd have started sniffing as if something were amiss, "Hey, why does it suddenly smell like a stall around here?"

<pause>

"Oh, because there's a horse's ass nearby. Sorry!"

I am appalled someone spoke to you that way...

Donald...Ha! good one....

yep,....can't wait for him to see you in two months....

I hope he has the toupe on tight! LOL

Like I said, it totally motivated me. My fear about surgery is almost gone, now I just want it over with. It was very humiliating, especially in front of the whole table. I mean was I supposed to take it as a compliement? I could of told him, yeah you look like one of those slobs on the Sopranos, but I think I have class and an am careful of other people's feelings.

I've got a story like that - was sitting in my bosses office one day - he is talking to a collegue on the phone on conference call - and they were discussing a doctor who does gastric by-pass - he says "all he does is sit around down there and talk to fat women" --- then looks at me and says "no offense"

I'm like WTF????????
