I just heard a rumor about a local leader of a very popluar band support meeting in KC..... I am very ticked off as this is the woman who for me WAS the REASON I chose my doc in the first place. I think it is really crappy business practice and I'm seriously considering taking my band fills elsewhere.

It is true I don't know the entire circumstance, but I really don't care. I myself feel betrayed and like I've lost MY support... the meeting is tomorrow and I had planned on going.. now.. I will have a hard time walking through their doors and an even harder time recommending her former employer to other prebandsters......

Tracy, that's wise, because you never know who might be lurking. I don't know where you are for sure, but if you're close to Topeka, you might consider calling Tallgrass to see if they'll take on other surgeon's patients for fills and such. I have contact information if anyone needs/wants it.

I would very much be interested in what happened too as I know that I had my surgery done by the same surgeon as you. I have seen you on his website and talk about him. What happened? You and I have the same Doctor but I haven't been to the support group meeting in quite awhile. I know there have been several office personnel changes and I'm aware of the new location but I'm concerned because you have always seemed so happy with him.

I believe from what I have picked up that this is the surgeons office I have started with, please let me know whats going on......this raises all sorts of red flags for me.....

Ok... I vented .... I'm over it..... I have to say that I have no problem whatsoever with my surgeon or his office. He is very skilled.......everything good still holds true.... since posting.. I've had emails from a hellofalot of people including staff at said office........ anyway........ those newbies going in have nothing to fear or fret about... and all of the oldies already know the deal..... I tend to be very pasionate about my band and those who've INSPIRED ME along the way........ I got all momma bear on the situation.. and now thanks to the net it lives on......
