trimming the tubing

I am very short, as such I had asked my doctor if he was going to trim the tubing (I wonder if not doing so can increase chances of kinking and bowel strangulation)

He said that he would, but then I read the operative report and he did not.

Have any of you had your tubing trimmed? Ever hear anything about it?

I just assume when they place the band, they cut the tube to fit your body how it should.

Wish I would have thought of that - I'm only 5'0". I don't know what they did on me. I never saw an operative report.
