got approval today!

Hi i am new to this site. i applied for lap band surgery in March 2007 and have been jumping through ins hoops since. today i got approval from ohio state bariatric program in columbus ohio. i have medical mutual ins and my case manager says if i get approval of ohio state, she has never turned down a surgery for them... i am so excited and so exhausted over this very long process. my dietician doc did say that lap band results were not as good as rny, but i have been losing on my own and i think i can do it with a lap band "tool" it is encouraging to see some of your lap band 100 pound losers and i hope to join them.. so nice to be here.

:rolleyes2:

Congratulations!!! You should come over to the Ohio board and meet up with some others that have had surgery at OSU.
