i keep reading about blood clots and deaths resulting from blood clots and even heart attacks after surgery and im freaking out........anybody have any info..........

Don't worry about that at all. Put your mind at ease. The doctors do everything to make you comfortable, and they do everything to make sure that blood clots don't happen. The surgery is over before you know it.

Usually, the hospital gets you up and walking around soon after surgery so you don't develop clots. Also, in the hospital you will most likely be giving you a shot to prevent blood clotting. I was given a prescription for 7 days worth of injections to prevent blood clots as well.

Same here, shots to stop blood clots, also leg massaging stockings in my hospital. They get you up and walking soon. Those complications are rare and they take plenty of precautions.

Hang in there. The odds are very very low.
