Am I nuts or...

I just realized that since I started losing weight I have been purging my house of crap. All kinds of junk, 8 garbage bags full of clothes, 6 carloads of boxes, more to come - all to the charity shop. It's like my house is a metaphor for my body, or the other way around. Maybe I just have more energy and am doing what needs doing finally.

Have you found anything similar?

Hey Ginger,

I did the same thing a week before my surgery. I took 4 bagloads of clothes to Vinnies (charity store), filled my garbage bin with junk and listed a number of items on ebay. I got rid of any clothes that were too big, I only kept in my closet the clothes that fit now and the ones that were too small have gone into hiding for a party in 2 months time! I can't wait to go shopping in there!!

I had a talk with DH last night about the junk food in our home and we both agreed that I didn't need it and he's a diabetic and most he shouldn't have as well. Most of the junk food we had I took to my students at school and now they think I'm the most coolest person on campus.:)

I find that they tell me more things than I really need to know. LOL

Everyday, they ask what will I bring the next day. Thankfully it's just about gone, except the ice cream. I'm saving that (only about 3 or 4 mouth fulls).
