New NSV woot.

If you see some of my other posts, I've had chronic heartburn since I was 10, and months after banding, it's still a daily occurance. I forget my Prilosec sometimes, and pay the next day.

Well last night I was having some heart burn and realized I hadn't taken Prilosec in a week!! And the only time I had heartburn was last night! And it was MILD.. I've never had it be MILD. And I've never gone a week without heartburn unless I was taking my meds.

WOOHOO!!

:pray2:

that is awesome. Did you have esophageal erosion from having GERD that long or was it heartburn without the reflux? Congrats but be careful going off meds until you make sure erosion is completely healed if you had one.

Laura, what a good NSV. I would be so thrilled with that! I have had chronic heartburn for the past four or five years, resulting in Barrett's esophagus, and I'm on Nexium one or two a day. It let up during the liquid phase but came back again when I started solids. I am SO hoping I get to share in your NSV soon!
