You're only 2 days out. Truthfully, I don't remember how much I drank 2 days post-op. It probably wasn't more than 20 oz the whole day, but I know I did not get a pain in my chest after drinking and I do not recall not being able to burp, but don't think I did anyway.

Thanks RedTulips. I checked with my doctor and he said it all sounded quite normal and my nutritionist agreed. I guess we'll see how it goes

I was banded on the 15th. It still happens to me if I take too big of a drink. I can't burp at all:) I keep telling myself, small sips... :lol: Hope your doing well.
