I'm scheduled to have my 2nd fill today. I was supposed to be on clear liquids but ate a piece of cake at lunch:redface: Should I call and reschedule the fill or will it be ok. It will have been 4 hrs. since I've had the cake. Thanks guys. I know that was a dumb thing to do.

I never have to do any type of special diet before a fill, now after a fill I usually do about 2 days fluids, then 1 day mushies, then eat normally.

No restrictions before a fill for me, though I usualle opt not to eat so I can get a more accurate scale reading. The only advice they give is to finish the day with mushy foods when your fill is done.

They are talking about liquids after your fill....at least my doctor was. I was never required a liquid diet prior to the fill.
