Anyone having trouble sleeping since surgery?

Ok, so I'm a third shifter, I work 7pm-7am 3 days per week, so my sleep schedule isn't the greatest to begin with. BUT, prior to having surgery, I did have myself on a somewhat normal sleeping schedule. Now, it seems like ever since I had surgery, I just CANNOT sleep at night on my days off. It is driving me crazy!!! It is really interfering with my life on my days off, because I finally get tired at about 7am and end up sleeping half the day.

Has anyone else experienced this? I already take something to help me sleep, and it hasn't worked since my surgery. ??????? I'm perplexed.
