Constant Pain in Right Side?

Hello. I am having problems with constant pain on my right side. It is on the same side of my port area, but way below where the port is. I cant lay on my side and it hurts to stand up sometimes. I have this pain off and on. I am going to go to my doc, but usually he tells me to take Aleeve for the pain, but I am afraid it is something worse. Does anyone else out there have this pain off and on and somtimes lasting a couple days? Your suggestions are appreciated..thanks :)

It's possible it could be your gallbladder or even something else. I would tell your doctor that he/she needs to do some checking b/c any type of unknown pain needs to be looked at. Sometimes dr's need a little reminding that we know our bodies better than anyone. Good luck and definately get it checked out.
