Do Not Eat During Your Liquid Stage Post Op!!!

Especially if you want to eat chili. Just had a chat with my docs. They banded someone two weeks ago who descided to try a little chili. She though it would be find if she chewed it up real nice. Well her body rejected it and she started to vomit. She reacted so hard that she tore up her insides really bad and had to go to ER. It litterally ripped her apart inside. She is now in the hospital after some MAJOR reconstructive surgery.

So PLEASE follow your doctor's rules.

Luckily she's the exception instead of the rule! But sometimes in reading these posts, I must admit that I think some people think this is just "another diet" and if they don't like it, they can change their minds.

You've proven what my mantra has been all along: the surgeon (and his Bariatric Center) is the leader and we MUST follow what they instruct us to do--it's the only way to play!!

Thanks for warning the "young ones", Justin!! :o
