Anyone else have another surgery with the lapband?

Hi,

I'm going to be banded on the 15th and I haven't noticed if anyone else had another surgery at the same time they were banded. I am having my ovaries removed at the same time the band is being placed. My friend just had ovarian cancer. My Mother died of breast cancer and since I am now in menopause, I thought I don't need these anymore and I want them out. So I am having them removed by the OB/Gyn and the band placed by the GI doc. Has anyone else had 2 proceedures at the same time? Did it make the recovery harder? Good luck to all those going before me in the next two weeks. I look forward to hearing how you are doing. And thanks to everyone who told me how to put the ticker on my signature. You guys all all great!!!:ranger:

Hi Diane, I might be having a hernia fixed at the same time. I have to have a gastroscopy before my surgery date to check.
