Leaky Port

I just found out today that I have a leaky port. I was banded on 01/18/06. How common is a leaky port? Anyone else out there have experience with a leaky port to share?

BCBS paid for my initial surgery. I am crossing my fingers that they will pay to have my leaky port fixed. Anyone have experience with insurance paying to fix a leaky port?

I am so disappointed. My doctor tells me this is rare, and he seldom sees this.
