Sell clothes in Michigan

I've given away most of my clothes but I still have some things that I'd like to sell. Things like suits and blouses for a professional job or interviewing. I haven't been able to find a consignment shop that takes larger sizes. Ebay has been suggested on other forums. Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks, LynnAnn

Hi, I don't know where you live, but there is a plus size consignment shop in Charlotte. Charlotte is near Lansing. I was banded 3 days ago, and lost 30+lbs. before surgery, But I can "shop" in my own closet for a while as I have clothes that even though they did not fit I could not bear to part with. I definitly would also try to sell your clothing on e-bay, plus sizes do sell well.

Ebay is a good bet. I've sold some jeans and sweaters, and I'm about to list a whole bunch of other items since cleaning out my closet yesterday.

For the life of me, I am drawing a blank, but I remember seeing on the news that there is a charity out there that takes donations of professional clothings for people on welfare looking to join the work force. Can't remember what it is called, but call one of your local newstations and they might be able to tell you. Or maybe there is someone here that has heard of it.
