First wiegh in?

I am kind of disappointed I had my staples taken out yesterday 8 days after banding and I had only lost 3 pds. Dr. Said not to worry it is water retaining. How much did everyone else loose after a wk. or first weigh in. I have not been cheating at all. It just makes me made. I want this to work so bad.

I had my first weigh in after being banded on 12/18. I lost 9 pounds but now I started the mushy stage and am afraid I will gain. I haven't been really hungry, but he though of cottage cheese is pretty appealing!(How sick is that??)

Hang in there Karri, it will come off!

I had my first appt with doc. today, 12-27. I was banded on 12-11 and i have lost 11 lbs. I started mushies and am soooo happy to be able to have something with some texture. If you havent tried them yet, get the little jello cheesecake cups. They are fantastic and perfect for the after dinner sweet tooth attacks! I think they are around 100 cals each and 1 or 2 grams of fat, not too bad. They are pretty satisfying for something sweet.....
