Hyperthyroidism before surgery

Anybody here developed hyperthyroidism a month before surgery? Please let me know what happened, did it got normal before surgery or was your surgery cancel? I need help, im schedule for sept 8. But with this problem if my thyroid dont normalize again im wont be having the surgery.
