Is 5cc too much for a first fill?

:confused:My surgery date was 9/20/07. I had my first band fill on 10/22/07. I have lost on 10 pounds since my fill. At first I belived that the band was too tight because I was having a very hard time getting solids in. After about two weeks things have greatly changed. I am eating more that the 4oz that my doctor says I should be eating. With 5cc in my band I don't feel like I have much more space to fill in the band for later. Can anyone help?

It depends on what size band you have. I have a big band and I believe that my first fill was 5.5 ccs. Right now I have 11.5 ccs in my band and I have good restriction. Good luck!

Guess I should find out what size band I have in huh:>). I don't think I have a big one in but I will ask at my next appointment. I am scheduled for a band fill on 01/04/08. Thanks
