Marketplace insurance

Is there anybody that has marketplace insurance that covered Bariatric surgery? If so, what insurance did you get?

I’m in Texas. Thank you for you help.

typically in Texas any marketplace plan will not cover any kind of bariatric surgery. SO its a lot of the southern states that do not cover it due to the fact that the majority of people there are overweight and eat poorly. (Which is what one insurance agent told me) So the only way to get it covered would be to move to a state that does cover it, get your surgery and move back. I thought about that if i ever needed a revision because here in Florida its also excluded. I paid cash for my surgery

That is so ridiculous that the south is targeted as eat poorly… all of America is obese.. America should really think twice of all the fast food places on every street corner.. I haven’t touched a fast food joint since my surgery 3 yrs ago but I’m amazed of how many there are
