Port Problems?

I don't know if I am just freaking out or if there really is something wrong. I have been having a slight discomfort on the right side and when I push and feel my port it is slightly tender. What could this be from? It's only been going on for 1.5 days so I'm hoping it's nothing major! Has anyone had this feeling before?:think I hope it's nothing bad!!

I am only 2 weeks post op, so my port hurts all the time :straight, but I have read posts about the port becoming infected....did you bump it? Did you just get a fill? It would be good to call your doc tomorrow in case it is an infection so you can get it treated quickly.

I had this when I first and secondly had my surgeries. The reason why it hurts around the port is because it is stitched in the abdominal wall and into a muscle. This pain will be there for a while. Whatever you do, DO NOT play with it. You can make it flip and then you will have to have port repair surgery. Take the pain medicine the doctor gave you and it will go away soon. It has been very little time since you have had surgery, your body needs time to heal.
