May 27th!! Anyone else here have a May surgery date?

I was thinking about testing the liquid diet a week before I need to. Did you start your yet?

Not yet, I have been on a somewhat soft diet anyway due to getting new dentures so didn’t feel I needed liquids any sooner than told

Hi everyone, I’m new to this forum and planning to have revision from lap band to sleeve.

Lap band experience was not good a waist of insurance money.

Is a month wait for approval the usual weight time?

I had a lap band in 2007 and had it removed within 2 years because I couldn’t keep any food down (the hole closed off) and I had pre-Barrett’s esophagitis. I’m getting sleeve on the 7th! Best wishes on your surgery.

Hey! How did it go? Girl, I am sooo excited, starting the pre op diet tomorrow (not looking forward it but definitely worth the sacrifice)

How is everyone doing, I am 12 days post op, feeling good, getting the hang of not drinking immediately after eating, and down 37 lbs from highest weight. If I hadn’t worn jean shorts and left two middle incisions uncovered things would be even better. I irritated those two incisions and have to use triple antibiotic and keep them covered for a week. I will Definately cover them from now on!! ??‍♀️
