I have question I’m from newark nj this Thursday that is coming up I’m having umbilical hernia laparoscopic surgery i was supposed have family fun day on Saturday my husband and I want take our son seaside our son go on rides walk on board walk will I be okay

February 10,21 starting weight 382lbs I’m now 279lbs 6’0 feet tall

That's really a question for your surgeon but I will say that two days after my VSG (which is less intrusive than umbilical hernia repair) I couldn't have gone out all day. I think I slept 17 hours. You should probably plan not to go.
