Haha it does kinda feel like that huh? Hi 12 min older twin! ? It’s been weirdly better than i think it normally would I haven’t really had any issues keeping down liquids, the cravings are lessening and I’m definitely not hungry which is also weird but if i get on Instagram and see the crazy foods in the for you page i might go crazy haha. I’m definitely leaning on these pain and nausea meds so hears to feeling better by my day 6! Med free Also would love to be friends we can check on eachothers progress!

YAY! Yes, I havent had any issues either, Def have some nausea but have kept everything down so far! I'm so glad its going well! If you end up having a day like mine you know who to talk to! haha

My surgery was on July 19th. The procedure was smooth and only required one night in the hospital. The next day, I walked two laps around the wing and was home. I struggled with getting in water and protein in the beginning. Once I had a bowel movement, it has been easier. Good luck to you all.

I had my surgery on the 26th, so I am technically 5 days out. I am getting really tired of my protein and soup mix that I've been alternating through. I'm not saying I want more food, I just want something different. I had a sudden craving for peanut butter and I was wondering if anyone knew of any way to squash that craving? Any protein powder/drink recommendations?

Premier protein has the chocolate peanut butter shake, never tried it myself though.

Popsicles and jello helped me a lot, I’m on week two and haven’t tried peanut butter yet I’m too scared to go against anything lol. I do obsessively search things other people have had and if there’s quite a few people I will.

my favorite popsicle when I was little were those missile pops (cherry pineapple swirl) and I found them at Walmart sugar free! My first week basically consisted of my obsessively looking at food and finding something to eat, because I can not do anything warm and clear. (In my head) so gross to me for some reason.

I have been almost 2 weeks Post Op and I must say it hasn't been bad thus far except for the day after surgery..I am soooo fed up with soups and shakes and the only good thing Is I am loosing consistently.I can't wait for purree stage. I find myself wanting to cook healthy for everyone and that is satisfying to me..I, also missssssss taking a nice relaxing bath.

How is everyone doing so far?

I got the great value brand powdered peanut butter from Walmart and I’ve been adding that to my yogurt and shakes because I miss peanut butter so much! It’s actually pretty good and it has protein in it so bonus.

I don’t know if it’s in your plan or not but I love the halo top peanut butter cup ice cream. So good.

I too am so over the liquid stage and I'm really looking forward to the puree stage! I have sooooo many recipes saved in my pinterest? I also have had an affinity towards cooking healthy meals for my husbands, but I don't want to make anything till I can taste test lol

Another thing that helped me through week one was sonic ice (you can buy the bags, or if you don’t have sonic whatever place by you that has ice chips) and Powerade zero blue (or whatever your favorite sugar free drink is) I did all ice then a splash of that and ate the ice and it felt like a snow cone lol
