:help:My boyfriend just had his lap band removed and in the hospital. They have informed him that he has MRSA. We are all worried...has anyone experienced this?

    I've not had MRSA, but I'm familiar with it and I know two people currently being treated - one localized to the hand, the other on the back. It's nasty stuff. I had my gallbladder out in August and I was chatting with the nurse and she said it definitely has everyone on red alert. It's the Energizer bunny of staph infections.
