I am new to this site. I just received my first order and I was under the impression that everything was going to be "carb friendly", which in fact, most everything has excessive carbs that I could have purchased at any local store. Any recommendations on products that are offered on here that are no high in carbs?

I had the gastric sleeve in December of 2017. I have gained 25 pounds back. I don't really get hungry, but my metabolism drops, which in turn, causes me to eat impulsively, which of course, created the weight gain. Trying to figure out a "diet" that will help me meet all my needs and goals. Any advice?

I was looking for the way to introduce myself and couldn't find it. Your situation scares me. I don't have any advice, only concerns. I don't have a date for my surgery yet but it should be set in about one month.

Did you lose a healthy amount of weight? Are you still at a net loss? From all you've been through are you able to find the resources that will help you to get back on track?

Would you do it again? What advice do you have for someone about to undergo this type of surgery? Sorry I have nothing to offer you, but you have already helped me. I want this procedure to fix my weight issues once and for all. Knowing that can't happen, I wonder how difficult it will be to maintain a significant loss through the surgery over time.

I am older now with other health problems making it more difficult to improve my overall health even with wls. It is going to be a battle and I have to prepare for that thanks to what you wrote.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
