I am one month post op today (3/23/21) from my laparoscopic VSG surgery. Everything is going fine. I was a low BMI patient and my weightloss seems to be in the normal range with a -19 lb loss in the month so far. I am eating soft foods now and getting my 64oz of liquid in.
My incisions have healed fine. However, a few days ago i started having intense pain about 2 inches above my belly button. Its continuous and very tender to the touch. It feels like a very painful bruise or a sore muscle.
Has anyone experienced this? Its hard for me to wear my usual leggings because it sits right where that pain is. I was able to sleep on my stomach soon after surgery but not anymore.
Any insight is appreciated.
Lucy
