Hello!

Congrats on getting a date for surgery.

There are TONS of great threads here that'll give you information about the procedure, recovery, fills, food, etc etc etc.

I suggest checking out threads in General Discussion. Especially the BEFORE and AFTER pictures! That'll definitely motivate you!! :)

I got my band Nov 23rd. As you'll see on my sig line, Ive lost 30 pounds. Its exciting!!

Where are you getting banded? Are you on a pre-op diet?

thanks for the encouragement.

I am being banded in Flint, MI. my preop diet starts on sunday.

I know it's hard to believe this but you'll be fine. Lot's of great things with the band. Only been banded a week myself but a friend of mine was banded a year and a half ago and she is doing great. She's lost over 125 pounds and has no regrets. She's met her doctor's goal but still has a few pounds to go to meet her personal goal. There are lot's of good things like that to read about on here. You'll be fine.

Good luck!
