liquid diet troubles

Hi had my gastric bypass on post day 5. Roughly a week left of liquid diet.

I am finding it difficult with head hunger. Wishing for solid foods right now can't concentrate sometimes.

I am having soup, milk, yoghurt, broth pretty much .

Any suggestions with things that can help ? Anyone finished the liquid stage earlier cause they couldn't deal with it ?

Thanks

  • I haven’t had my bypass yet, but I know the liquid stage after can be rough. Just add protein powder or drink protein shakes as much as you can. It’ll help with the hunger feeling. I bought unflavored

I havent been drinking protein powder as it causes me gas. I bought the wrong type of powder and now I am stuck with it lol. I have alot of dairy like milk and yoghurt so thats where I am getting the protein at the moment.
