Hi everyone! I'm new just found out a couple of hours ago that I'm approved and have a date of 20 Dec. My approval came in 3 short days... and I only decided to have lap-band about 1 month ago so I'm on the fast track already! After I received the call this a.m. I had to go to the bathroom at work and have a little cry spell. I'm not an emotional person but it hit me all at once -- several different emotions!

I happy to join the December group.... looking forward to this journey!

I have had a few crying spells myself since I started on my journey. My surgery is TOMORROW. I was supposed to be last tuesday and my doctor had an emergency and had to reschedule, and of course, when they called to tell me, I cried!

Hopefully by the end of the month we will be well on our way to where we want to be.

I have surgery scheduled for December 17, 2007 and am very excited to begin my new healthy, thin life.

I'm 12/17 too, and yep on the crying jags and nerves. Mine was pretty quick too; this is probably a VERY good thing, not too much time to be nervous.

Honey, be happy that you have the ability to make the changes that you (WE) need. I cry too though, I get so emotional the older I get. And, yes, the faster the better. The more time you have to wait, the more time to drive yourself CRAZY with anticipation!!!
